Projects
NEWP: Clam Bake
This flyer advertises the biggest annual event of the year. Sometime during the early fall, both seafood and non-seafood items are prepared by a catering company for all of the workers. It is the most anticipated event of the year.

The graphic assets used on this flyer were also used to make company T-Shirts in the most recent year, which also featured a new logo from when the company rebranded. I was also involved in the rebranding of the company.
Rezora: Involvement in Student Housing E-Book
Rezora is an email software system meant to assist real estate agents in marketing their companies and listings. The process of finding an apartment can be daunting, but a good real estate agent made the process easier for me.
I wrote and designed this E-Book, proposing the idea that marketing towards and assisting students with finding an apartment would increase the likelihood of having clients in the future. Students will remember the impact agents had during their search. As a result, they will be likely to depend on more favorable agents in the future if they want to find a new apartment or house, or they'll be more likely to refer the agent to friends who need an apartment.

Vietnamese Student Association: Karaoke Night Flyer
Karaoke Night is a popular type of event that's hosted by many different organizations. This time, the Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) happened to be hosting it, and it was my duty to promote it. Physical copies were printed and displayed on campus, and I also posted this on the Instagram and Facebook pages.

At the time of making this design, I tried to emphasize the "Karaoke" part of the theme. I also stayed aware of requirements, such as the club + school logos, as well as the accessibility section on the bottom and the VSA's social media.

Pokémon Club: First General Meeting Flyer
The Pokémon Club was first established by me and my friends back in November 2019. I created and displayed this flyer around campus. I also posted this on our newly made Instagram page. With our club being newly established, we struggled with strongly establishing our club at first. However, this event gained a lot of traction, so I consider it the first event to jumpstart our club's huge growth.
At the time, I was experimenting with what designs worked for this type of club. The formula I used (thematic colors and fonts, recognizable and thematic Pokémon, and school guidelines) seemed to work well. Many students commented on discovering the club through event posters.

Vietnamese Student Association: Culture Show Pamphlet
Every year the Vietnamese Student Association hosts its biggest event of the year: the Culture Show. It's a celebration of not only Vietnamese cultures and lessons, but also anyone else who wants to volunteer to perform!

The theme was decided by the organization's president. The meaning of "Dusk in Dorchester" is in reference to the night market stalls that are set up during traditional Vietnamese events in the city (and more specifically in the Boston area). The color scheme emphasizes the "Dusk" part of the theme, while the decoration elements emphasize the traditional night market.

New England Intercollegiate Vietnamese Student Association: Date Release for Conference
This organization is the umbrella organization for every VSA in the New England area. Every year, they hold an annual conference promoting leadership, empowerment, and culture within the Vietnamese community. This graphic, posted on both the Instagram and Facebook pages, was a release date post for the conference.
At the time, I was in charge of promoting a theme for the conference. The theme was "In Full Bloom," meant to symbolize growth and embracing yourself. I chose a light pink, gold, black, and white color scheme with decorative plant and flower assets throughout the graphics created.

UMass Boston Student Activities: Lucky Bamboo Event
As the social media manager of the Student Activities Office, my job was to run the Instagram with the purpose of promoting any school-related event. This was one of many events held on campus! I promoted it through the Instagram page. Students were able to arrange their own bamboo plants for free and take them home afterwards.
This theme was simple; I mainly wanted to stick with a color scheme that matched with bamboo.
